Waiting

Next Wednesday I am going to calif. Well maybe I am. It is in celebration of my Uncle's 90th Birthday. He and my aunt live in Texas and will be driving to Calif and staying with their daughter, my cousin, Diane. Uncle Cecil hasn't been feeling well and it is still up in the air as to whether they will make it or not. I sure hope they do. I have been just cleaning things out and waiting to get ready to go. My mom and I have talked about going to Sea World one of the days I am out. It has been several years since I last went. Then there was a big group of us. My cousins Janet and Mary, my Mom, Aunt Betty and the kids, Andrew, Michael and baby Jenna. I think Jenna is now in 1st grade (maybe even 2nd)!
Normally at this time of day Red and I would be finishing our walk. We haven't even started yet. I had to take Basil to the Vet and Sue had horse errands she had to run. I am waiting for a phone call as the heat keeps climbing. It rained last night and the weatherman said it would be cooling things off but it is already 79 and barely 9:30! Guess it is cooler than the 82-85 it normally is when we walk but that doesn't sound like much of a cool down to me!

Hello from Florida

I am not sure who would read this but Hello! It is a sunny, yet rainy day today. I walked Red, mowed the back lawn to beautiful blue skies (even if the humidity had me sweating like a linebacker) and then it poured. If I can figure this out I will post my favorite bug picture. My friend Diana has it all figured out and has all sorts of things you can link to. As you can see I managed to get the dragonfly on. It is no longer just raining. It is storming so this will be it for now.
